Bearded dragons are often a favorite choice of reptile for many. Their dragonesque appearance, larger-than-life personalities, and silly behaviors draw people to them. Often, they are marketed as beginner pets in stores across the nation. However, this isn't really true. Read below to find out more about these awesome creatures!
The Misfit Menagerie is a 501(C)(3) non-profit rescue organization composed of volunteers that rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home non-traditional, exotic animal companions across North Mississippi. We work together to raise awareness of the proper care of exotic pets, advocate for them, and put an end to exotic animal dumping which poses a risk to local wildlife and our natural environment. Our primary focus animals are domesticated reptiles (though we have the contacts to rehab non-venomous wild reptiles), domesticated birds, small exotic mammals, and invertebrates (tarantulas, scorpions, etc.).
